My approach
I’m a documentary photographer at heart. What is documentary photography, you ask?
Documentary photography is non-invasive storytelling. Photographing your day as it happens, meaning you can relax and forget the camera is there.
I don’t believe life needs to be overly posed or perfectly arranged to be beautiful. The moments that matter most are usually the ones in between; the laughter you didn’t expect, the quiet glance, the chaos, the calm.
My job is to help you feel at ease and then let things unfold naturally.
I blend in where I can, observe carefully, and step in gently when guidance is needed. I’ll check in with you, make sure you’re comfortable, and then give you space to simply enjoy what’s happening. The goal is always for you to feel present, not like you’re performing for the camera.
When it comes to portraits or more directed moments, it’s never about stiff posing. It’s about connection. Most of the time, you’ll just need a little guidance and a few minutes to breathe together…the rest comes naturally.
Why it matters
Photography is more than just images. It’s a way of holding onto feeling.
As time passes, the details fade…but photographs bring them back. They’re physical reminders of how something felt, who was there, and who you were in that moment.
That’s why I care so much about capturing things honestly.
What you can expect
• A calm, patient presence
• Gentle guidance when needed
• Someone attentive and supportive
• Space to be yourselves
• Genuine, story-led imagery
I’m there to document, not dominate, the moment.
If you value connection over perfection and real over rehearsed, we’ll get along perfectly!
